From weddings and parties to private dinners and conferences, our dedicated functions manager can work closely with you to deliver a customised and meticulously planned experience for you and your guests. Our team of event specialists can organise a wide array of functions including wedding receptions, civil ceremonies, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties and summer balls, to name a few.

The Grand Ballroom at The Broadway Hotel is a wonderful space to host your wedding reception. And for couples looking to take their vows at our popular venue, we are licensed for civil marriages with an option for couples to hold the ceremony inside our elegant ballroom, if they so wish.

At the Broadway Hotel, we will provide you and your partner with a dedicated wedding planner who will work closely with you every step of the way to ensure that you experience the wedding of your dreams.

Our wedding menu packages can also include your own carving deck and chef in the ballroom at no additional cost. In fact, there are many additional services mentioned on this page that can complement your big day.

Fully air-conditioned and located on the ground floor for easy access, once you step in to our Grand Ballroom, you will note the high ceilings, exquisite chandeliers and spacious dance floor that make this space a stunning venue for your private function. The hire of our ballroom also includes use of a private bar & lounge area, outdoor terrace, separate entrance foyer and late night bar licence.

The Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 140 guests for a sit-down meal and up to 250 for buffet and dancing, is available for hire from only £450. And if you’re looking for a more intimate venue, the Norton Lounge, which is ideal for smaller parties and private dining, can cater for up to 35 guests, with prices available upon application.

Whether you’re looking to host 150 guests for a mouth-watering sit-down meal or you’d like to invite 250 guests for an evening of buffet and dancing, The Broadway Hotel is your venue of choice.

Our expert chefs are on hand to provide you and your guests with a selection of delicious sit-down meals or buffets. Please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements and budget. We also work closely with clubs and associations to cater for their members, an example being the Rotary and Inner Wheel weekly suppers that take place on Wednesdays and Tuesdays respectively.

Music and entertainment
to suit every occasion

We understand the importance of music and entertainment to create the right ambience for your special event, to suit the exact occasion. This is why we can cater to a whole host of requests including the services of our popular resident DJ or, if you prefer, work closely with you to accommodate your own DJ, live band or private entertainment.

Our Grand Ballroom is equipped with an in-house sound system for background music and the space also features a stage, disco lighting and a large dance floor to create the perfect setting for a lively party atmosphere.

At The Broadway Hotel, we also host regular live music, party nights and our extremely popular New Year’s Eve entertainment where Anglo-French band ‘Objets Trouves’ regularly fly over from Nice to perform on this special night.
